Reading without an account
No sign-up is needed to browse threads. You only need an account when you want to ask your first question or reply to someone else.
The forum runs online, but there is a physical office behind it. If you would rather drop off a donated tool, collect a spare part arranged through the classifieds corner, or sit down with someone about a thread that needs more than typing, this is the address.
The office sits inside the Van Wyk Villages complex, second block past the main gate. Parking is on-site and free for visitors. If you are coming by taxi, ask for the West Meganbury rank and walk two streets down.
Call ahead if you are bringing a geyser part, a gate motor or anything bulky. Some items need a second person to carry, and we would rather have someone waiting than have you make the trip twice.
Hardware shops, nurseries, plumbers and small workshops around Gauteng, the Cape and KZN sometimes want to work with us properly: sponsoring a regional board, running a how-to thread, or offering a member discount on parts. Use this form for that kind of enquiry. If you just have a question about a dripping geyser or a gate motor, post it in the forum instead, you will get a faster answer there.
