The Guide Center is where you work out your next move before you post. Some problems belong in a regional board, some in home repairs, and a few are better handled by a professional than by a forum thread. If you are stuck between two boards, or you are not sure whether your geyser drip is a DIY job or a call-out, leave your email and a short line about what you are dealing with. We will point you to the right thread, the right board, or the right person to ask.
No newsletters, no sales pitches. Just a reply that gets you closer to an answer, usually within a day or two. Members who have already solved the same thing are the ones reading these notes.
The Guide Center points you to the right board, but sometimes you just want a human reply. Here is how members and moderators actually get back to you, and how long it usually takes.
Best for repair questions, load-shedding workarounds and anything with a photo. Start a thread in the matching regional or topic board and replies usually land within a few hours during the day.
Typical first reply: 2 to 6 hours
Use this when a thread needs moving, a classified ad has gone stale, or your account is stuck. Include the thread link so we do not have to hunt for it.
Answered within one working day, Monday to Friday.
For urgent account issues or if typing out a long question is not practical. Keep it short, we will point you to the right board or take a note for a moderator.
Weekdays 09:00 to 16:00.
Most questions never need a moderator at all. If you are still deciding where to post, the Guide Center walks through the boards and the kind of answer each one tends to produce.
If a thread did not answer your question, or you would rather speak to a person, the details below are the fastest way to reach the people who run the board. Replies are handled by volunteers, so a little patience goes a long way.
5936 Van Wyk Villages Suite 877
West Meganbury, NW 8618
Mail is collected twice a week. For anything urgent, use the phone or email instead.
Email suits account issues, reported posts and regional board requests. Call if your question is about a thread that has gone quiet.
Best for repair, gardening and load-shedding questions, since other members can add their own experience.
For moderation reports, classifieds disputes and anything you would rather not post publicly.
Kept short and practical, mostly for account access and regional board queries.
